Las Vegas, January, 6 – ALCATEL ONETOUCH and MediaTek Inc., today announced that ALCATEL ONETOUCH have upgraded their flagship smartphone series to create the IDOL X+, an ultra-compact, premium smartphone powered by the MT6592 True Octa-Core chipset, which allows 2GHz eight cores to work simultaneously to enable the next level of performance and power efficiency.

The beautifully designed smartphone features a Full HD 441ppi display with “0” bezel for an edge-to-edge experience on the full lamination 5” screen. The IDOL X+ also brings an unmatched viewing angle of more than 170 degrees to create life-like display in a world where image is everything, enhanced by the 13.1Mpxl FULL HD camera.

Featuring the MediaTek MT6592, the IDOL X+ carries specifications and is able to enhance performance, increase battery efficiency and therefore improve the overall user experience.
