MediaTek Appoints Patrik Persson as the new General Manager of Global Marketing Communication

STOCKOLM-SWEDEN – May 14th, 2013 - MediaTek Inc., a leading fabless semiconductor company for wireless communications and digital multimedia solutions, today announced that Patrik Persson has been appointed as General Manager Global Marketing Communication.In his new role, Patrik will lead the strategies and development of the global corporate communication and branding of MediaTek. He will report to Johan Lodenius, the Chief Marketing Officer of MediaTek. “Having worked with a number of multinational corporations over the past 20 years, Patrik has deep knowledge of global market communication. He has been a part of the movement that, since the mid-nineties, shaped the shift from traditional to digital communication. I am very pleased to have Patrik on board."

Patrik has been working with global corporations like The Absolut Company, Vodafone, Hennes & Mauritz (H&M) and many others. Patrik was a co-founder of Great Works, one of the world’s most awarded digital agencies.
