MediaTek Honored as Chipset Company of the Year 2012
New Delhi - December 7, 2012 - MediaTek Inc., a leading fabless semiconductor company for wireless communications and digital multimedia solutions, has been conferred the Voice&Data Telecom Leadership Award in the ‘Chipset Company of the Year 2012 for Feature Phones’ category, for its leading market position in the segment. The award was presented to MediaTek by Mr. Sanjay Kapoor, CEO, Bharti Airtel and Mr. Pradeep Gupta, CMD, CyberMedia at the Telecom Leadership Forum 2012 organized by Voice&Data in New Delhi.
Anku Jain, Senior Director of Engineering & Deputy General Manager, MediaTek India received the ‘Chipset Company of the Year 2012 (Feature Phones)’ award at the event.
